How To Enjoy The Sun… Whilst Staying Home

by Chloe Wilshere, Content Creator

It’s almost like the weather knew we were all in need of a little cheering up because the sun is finally shining!

And just because we’re stuck inside doesn’t mean that you can’t dress for the warm weather. So whether it’s in a garden, on a balcony or through the window (we’ve all done it) we’ve rounded up 6 ways you can embrace the sun at home and enjoy a little bit of Vitamin D in a new outfit.

1. Enjoy A BBQ In The Garden

If you’ve been wearing your loungewear for just a few too many days and need to get dressed up and enjoy the warm weather, then what better reason to get dressed up and enjoy the sun than with a BBQ in the garden with your household. Whether it’s getting dressed up with your housemates, family or partner, our floral yellow midi dress paired with white wedges and gold hoop earrings is the perfect outfit to get glam in and enjoy a BBQ in the garden.

2. A New Bikini For Sunbathing

Whether you’re lucky enough to have a garden to sunbathe in or are chasing the sunspots around your flat to catch some of that Vitamin D, you deserve a new bikini to do it in.

Our black crinkle bikini is perfect for lazy days enjoying the sun, pair it with a pair of gold rectangular sunnies. Oh and a new pair of sliders never hurt nobody…

3. Brushing Up On Your Gardening Skills

With all this extra time on your hands, you’ve taken it upon yourself to become a green finger and tackle the garden, right? Or if you don’t have a garden and are anything like me, you’re probably potting things here, there and everywhere in your flat to brighten things up a little.

Well, if that’s you then you need a new outfit to do it in, right? Our £12.99 zebra playsuit is practically perfect for a bit of DIY gardening – it's practical, stylish and doesn’t break the bank. Throw a white tee underneath it, and accessorise with black sliders and a black headband to keep your hair out of your face whilst digging and potting.

4. Let Loose With A Stay At Home Festival

On what should have been Coachella weekend, lets be honest we’re all longing for a festival more than ever before. But that doesn’t mean to say you can’t host your own festival with your household, whether you blast out your favourite music and enjoy drinks in the garden or reminisce over your favourite festival performances in the comfort of your own home just make sure you’ve got the right outfit on to do it in.

Get in the festival spirit with our stone puff sleeve crop top, cinch your waist in with our black tie-waist denim shorts and accessorise with trainers and some 90s sunglasses. For good measure may we recommend throwing on a bumbag too…

5. Enjoy a Picnic In The Garden

Whether you want to dress up for a boozy brunch on the balcony with your housemate or have a chilled afternoon snacking and doing arts and crafts with the kids in the garden, a new mini dress is definitely needed to do it in.

Our blue denim puff sleeve mini dress makes for the perfect spring mini dress. Pair it with an embellished headband and white sliders… also the perfect outfit to enjoy a spring day’s walk in.

6. Spend An Afternoon Relaxing In The Hot Tub

It can’t just be me that is surprised by the amount of people that have hot tubs. As soon as the weather turns a bit warmer, my Instagram feed is filled with people relaxing in theirs. So if you are one of those lucky people, who by the way I am by no means jealous of, I’m sure you’re looking for a new swimsuit to enjoy your hot tub in.

So why not go for our glamorous leopard print swimsuit and accessorise with black oversized sunnies and a straw hat to relax and read a book or enjoy a glass of bubbly in your hot tub. What better way to spend an afternoon at home in the sunshine…
